WEST COLUMBIA, SC – On Thursday, October 6, 2022, the Lexington Two Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Jillian Stroud as assistant principal at Saluda River Academy for the Arts.
Stroud most recently served as transformation coach at the SC Department of Education, where she has worked since 2018. Prior to that, Stroud held positions in Richland School District Two as a literacy coach at Lake Carolina Elementary’s Upper Campus and as a teacher at Lake Carolina Elementary’s Upper Campus and Condor Arts Integrated Magnet School. Stroud started her career in Lexington School District Four as a teacher at Sandhills Elementary School.
Stroud received a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina, master’s degree from Wheelock College, and M.Ed. from Columbia College.
She will begin her new role on Monday, October 10.
