WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Saluda River Academy for the Arts had an amazing week with its annual Artists-in-Residence program.
Among the highlights, Jef Lambdin worked with first- and second-graders on showing story elements through pantomime; Kimberly Roberts worked with third-graders and kindergartners on steel drums; Dave McDonald worked with fourth-graders on the art of cartooning; and Katie Hilliger worked with fifth-graders and kindergartners on African and hip-hop dance.
This week was made possible through the Arts in Basic Curriculum Project funded in part by the S.C. Arts Commission.
